Outdoor Worship
What To Bring
For anyone attending, we do ask that you bring a few things with you:
Seating
The service will take place outdoors, you may wish to bring a lawn chair, a cushion, a blanket or something comfortable to sit on throughout the service
Masks
As-per CDC guidelines for face coverings, a mask must be worn at all times during the service and on church property.
Water
Since the weather may be hot in the warmer months, we suggest that you bring plenty of water with you in order to stay cool and hydrated during the service.
Hand Sanitizer
If possible, please bring a personal supply of hand sanitizer.
What To Expect

Seating
Parties arriving will be assigned a marked seating area. The size of this seating area is dependent upon the size of party. However, seating areas are spaced to allow a 6ft distance. We ask that people their seating area and remain at least 20 feet from the front at all times.

Liturgy
We will follow an order of Morning Prayer. There will be musical accompaniment, however please refrain from singing in order to reduce the spread of virus particulate. Music will be provided by our organist, Jeffrey Mills and a cantor.

No-touch offering
For those wishing to make an offering, a no-touch offering box will be available. You also can donate online at onrealm.org/saintjohnschurch/give
Hand Sanitizer
Hand sanitizer will be provided by the ushers. Please sanitize your hands upon entering and leaving.

Coffee Hour
Until further notice, in-person coffee hour has been cancelled and at the end of morning prayer we ask that everyone disperse, following social distancing guidelines. Details will be made available for virtual coffee hour.
FAQ
- What happens if I forget something?
Masks, water and seating are available for emergencies – however due to limited supplies we would greatly appreciate everyone bringing their own - Is the church/church hall open?
In order to limit the spread of the virus, we respectfully ask that everyone try to keep visits into the church building to a minimum if at all possible and that no more than two people are in the building at any one time - Are rest rooms available?
Rest rooms are available on an emergency basis. - When should I arrive?
We suggest arriving early in order to get a good spot. - What happens if it rains?
In the event of inclement weather, in-person worship will be cancelled 24 hours in advance via email.
