There will be a screening of Chocolate Country, a 30-minute documentary, at coffee hour on Palm Sunday, April 13th.  Chocolate Country is about the lives and work of the Loma Guaconejo Cooperative, a group of cacao farmers in the Dominican Republic.  For Easter, we will enjoy samples from Taza Chocolate in Somerville.  This chocolate factory buys some of its free trade supply from Loma Guaconejo.  Please come and watch!  Jennifer Nolan

The Next Book Group Meeting will be Tuesday, April 15th at 7:30 p.m. We will be discussing “The Monuments Men” and author Robert M. Edsel.    We will also discuss and confirm our book for the May/June meeting. We welcome newcomers – please come and join us!

From the Altar Guild:

Easter Lilies:  It has been an Eastertime tradition at St. John’s to give donations toward the lilies that adorn our church windows and altar as a way of remembering those who are special to us.  The Altar Guild invites all parishioners to contribute to the Church’s Easter Lilies either “in memory of” or “in thanksgiving for” their loved ones.  Please send or bring your check to the Church Office along with your dedication by next Sunday, April 13th.  Thank you

Easter Sunday Pot-Luck Brunch:  A sign-up sheet is posted on the parish office door.  All are welcome to join in fellowship following the service.

Coffee Hour Sign-Up   Would you consider sharing your time and talent and smile with the parish and host a coffee hour?  It is easier than you think, and a veteran host would be glad to help with any questions you may have.  Please see the sign-up sheet on the Parish Office door for the months of May and June.  Thank you!
