News from the Centre Street Food Pantry:   Headed to the Market?    A nice variety of soups and canned fruit is always appreciated!  Other ideas:  baking items and condiments to cook with.

Please continue to leave your donations on the right side bench in the long hall – along with vocally spreading the word about the Pantry!  Thank you

This Sunday, March 22, the children will continue learning about the Faces of Easter.  The children will start in church for the 10AM service and be dismissed to Sunday School after the first hymn. Godly Play is offered for children 4 years old through 2nd grade. Older children (3rd – 6th grade) will assist with the younger children and participate in the activities. Child care is available for younger children. If you are interested in having your child(ren) attend Sunday School, willing to volunteer or have ideas about the program, please contact Jennifer Morgan at

From the Altar Guild:

Easter LiliesIt has been an Eastertime tradition at St. John’s to give donations toward the lilies that adorn our church windows and altar as a way of remembering those who are special to us.  The Altar Guild invites all parishioners to contribute to the Church’s Easter Lilies either “in memory of” or “in thanksgiving for” their loved ones.  Please send or bring your check to the Church Office along with your dedication by Tuesday, March 31stThank you

And, for those who cannot attend but would like to contribute, please bring cookies or bars (homemade or store bought) to church this Sunday March 29th. If you have any questions, please contact Libby Seaman at, 617-251-5629.
