As a diocesan community, we have been asked to support the 2026 Bishop’s Annual Appeal. In this year’s Appeal, Bishop Julia Whitworth reminds us that the Fourth Sunday of Easter is affectionately known as Good Shepherd Sunday.
In John’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us, “I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” Indeed, that is what shepherds do—they guide, support, and walk alongside their flock so that God’s people may live abundant lives.
This year’s Appeal highlights key ways we support shepherds, lay and ordained alike, who are strengthening congregational vitality throughout our diocese.
The appeal newsletter and donation envelope are available at church or by contacting the parish office. Please place your gift in the Offering this Sunday. If you do not have your gift with you, you may bring it next Sunday or mail it back directly to the diocesan office. Thank you for your generous support. Together, we are able to accomplish that which we cannot do alone!
